Turnaround day
A cruise call in Barcelona, hour by hour
On a turnaround day one sailing ends and the next begins at the same terminal. Most ships dock between 04:00 and 09:00 and sail again between 16:00 and 20:00, so the whole change of passengers fits into a few hours. This is the shape of a typical day; your own times are on your cruise documents.

If you know the ship will be late
Ships announce changes to the arrival time or to the disembarkation groups on board, often the evening before. As soon as you know, message us on WhatsApp or by email with your booking number and the new expected time. Changes are free with 24 hours’ notice and possible up to 3 hours before the pick-up (8 hours on weekends, public holidays and their eves).
Mobile data may be expensive at sea: the ship’s Wi-Fi is enough for WhatsApp.

If it is slower than planned
Free waiting at the cruise port is 30 minutes from the agreed pick-up time. If you are still waiting for your suitcases in the terminal hall, call or message us: we tell you whether the driver can wait longer and what any extra waiting would cost before it applies.

What if my ship docks late in Barcelona?
Message us with your booking number and the new time as soon as you know, ideally from on board. We move the pick-up.
How long will the driver wait at the port?
Free waiting is 60 minutes at the airport (from the actual landing time), 30 minutes at the cruise port and at Sants station, and 15 minutes at hotels and other addresses. Waiting starts at the agreed pick-up time, or when the driver reaches the meeting point if that is later.
Can I change the pick-up time on the day?
Send any change (time, address, passengers, luggage) by email or WhatsApp with your booking number. Changes are free with 24 hours’ notice; the minimum notice is 3 hours, or 8 hours on weekends, public holidays and their eves.
What if I miss my flight because of the ship?
We cannot change flights, but we can take you to a hotel or back to the airport later. Leave a wide margin when you book your flight.
