The cruise port

Know your terminal before you land

Cruise ships in Barcelona berth at the Adossat Wharf, a long breakwater at the far end of the port. The World Trade Center pier next to the old town has had a single cruise terminal, Barcelona Sud, which is due to close at the end of 2026. Your driver goes straight to the terminal on your booking, so you never have to cross the port on foot with your luggage.

Girona-Costa Brava

From Girona airport to your ship

Girona-Costa Brava airport (GRO) is north of Barcelona, roughly 100 km from the cruise port by motorway. Allow around 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes for the drive, more on summer weekends and at rush hour. Your driver meets you in arrivals with your name, follows your flight and has 60 minutes of free waiting from the actual landing.

Reus

From Reus airport to your ship

Reus airport (REU) serves the Costa Daurada, south-west of Barcelona, and is also around 100 km from the cruise port. The drive is usually around 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes. Many of its flights are seasonal, so check your schedule early and leave a generous buffer before boarding closes.

Planning

Sailing the same day or the day after?

Because the drive from Girona or Reus is longer than from El Prat, a same-day connection leaves less room for a delayed flight. If your boarding window is in the morning, or your flight is the last of the day, consider arriving the day before: we can drive you from the airport to a hotel in Barcelona, and from the hotel to the ship on sailing day.

On disembarkation day the same logic applies in reverse. Check the flight time from Girona or Reus against your disembarkation time and allow for the full drive plus check-in. If the timing is tight, ask us before you book your flight and we tell you honestly whether it is realistic.
